I’M AN EMPOWERED WOMAN INC.

We are a New Jersey-based grassroots movement for gender equality with the purpose of making significant strides in advocating for women’s rights and challenging systemic inequalities. As our society continues to evolve, our commitment to advancing women's rights must remain steadfast. We believe that empowering women, promoting gender equality, and addressing systemic barriers are essential for fostering inclusive societies where all individuals can thrive. By prioritizing women's rights and recognizing their critical role in achieving social justice, we can work toward a more equitable and just world for everyone.

Our Vision

The vision of I’M AN EMPOWERED WOMAN, INC. is 5-fold:

  • Recognize her right to have access to opportunities and resources

  • Understand her right to have the power to control her own life

  • Promote women to have a voice, as well as fresh and varied thinking and perspectives

  • Encourage women to find their inner confidence

  • Embolden women to start their journey by nurturing their ideas and goals

Addressing the Issues

Our area of focus is women’s political participation which, is essential for achieving gender equality and cultivating inclusive governance. Notwithstanding the barriers that persist, strategies such as implementing gender quotas, developing empowerment programs, and advocating for inclusive policies can effectively enhance women’s representation in political roles. By addressing the structural, cultural, and personal barriers that limit women’s political engagement, societies can release the full potential of women leaders, ultimately leading to more equitable and representative decision-making processes.


To address these issues we offer the following program:

  • Politically Powerful Woman- 8 sessions to empower women with the knowledge and skills necessary for pursuing political roles and supporting women-leaders in political roles.
